Good morning everyone,
Today i'll be talking about one of my favorite discoveries this year. Located on Van Horne again, and owned by the son of the "La Hacienda" owners (restaurant that I talked about in my last post), Here is a little bistro that will charm you.
It is a Bistro Français restaurant called Bistro Tagada. The restaurant is very small and intimate, but at the same time very colorful and welcoming. Again, since its size is so small, I strongly suggest that you call in before you arrive there to make a reservation or that you arrive early.
Favorite Food: My favorite plate at Bistro Tagada is the Beef fillet tartare with roasted pepper sauce and parmesan. It is very tasteful and is not a conventional Tartare which is what I love about it. Also, there is the home made foie gras and asparagus risotto which is delightful. Finally, if you go there
for lunch, I would strongly recommend the aged cheddar grilled cheese. Other: Even if the restaurant has only 26 seats, it doesn't lack personnality, that's for sure. Whatever you like, you will find something that will please you since the menu is so varied. From Burgers to Tartares, you will find something on the menu that you will love. Also, In the summer, you can have a lovely dinner on the terrace, if you'd like.
Cost:For lunch, the cost would be approximately between 15$ and 20 $ and for dinner more about 25$ to 30$ per person.
